They were rather cynical... all the time. Cynical, condescending, cocky, etc. It wasn't like them. And they could be rather hostile if you asked them what was wrong, and especially if you merely mentioned Octavia.

Why... that is a rather... bold question. I'll answer it regardless. I do believe Octavia felt bad for Bon Bon when Lyra was murdered and Golden Harvest was found to be the one who killed her. I believe she just wanted to support a friend, and it eventually grew to be much more...

As for Vinyl, the two of them always just had a certain bond with each other. It was as if they were meant to be.
