I really don't understand this notion that Kuro and I are so difficult to approach and no one can talk to us and so on and so forth. I talk to people in the chat and in PM all the time about whatever they want and there's no difficulties there.
Yet you seem to keep talking about us like we're the boogeymen and if you say the wrong thing we'll bite your head off. Even though you've said repeatedly, including right now, that you have difficulties approaching people in general.
So have you considered that maybe this is more about you
? And that maybe, if you want to fix this perceived problem, that you should actually try
to talk to me or him?
Instead of saying over and over that you can't and it's our fault? Because frankly, doing that over and over makes us less
inclined to interact with others, not more, for fear of being mistreated again and again.>>849213
What I'm curious about this line of logic of yours is how exactly it's especially egregious or offensive in any way.>>849242
Because you keep making it sound like me, Grell, and Kuro being a trio is the only case of that in this canon. Are you really going to sit there and say that we're the only group within the group?
Everyone has a circle of friends that they're closer to than other members, that's a natural occurance in a group this large. So why are you trying to make it sound like ours is such a bad thing? By your line of logic, I could say that interacting with you would carry the weight of getting connected with Star or Ren or Trotty, because they're the ones commonly seen connected to your characters, and I don't particularly want anything to do with them for reasons you're likely well aware of.
But I wouldn't say that, because that's just ridiculous. We respect one another's boundaries and we don't just barge in where we aren't wanted. We talk things over with one another, we know what's OK to join in on and what isn't, we know what's been set up and what's just for fun. We wouldn't just ruin that for our own sake, that's completely selfish. And you saying that we would do that is a bit insulting to me personally, but you throwing Grell out in the cold is far worse, because she never deserved anything like that.
And I'd like to add that there was a very easy solution to this problem that you seemed to not consider.>>849269
Rewrite the arc.
You had two characters connected to Franz, one played by you and one played by Trotty, who could've been the focus of the arc instead. All it would take is some tweaking and you could've proceeded with the plan. Bring in a few other people for the fighting and you'd be good to go.
But you chose to cancel it altogether and blame it on us for losing interest. Yeah, we did lose interest, but you were the one who gave up on it. That's on you, and I don't appreciate you making it sound like we twisted your arm and made you throw it in the trash.
That being said, like you pointed out, there's stuff we all want to avoid happening for various reasons, and that's going to cause conflict no matter who's involved.>>849272
And to be fair, I do ask permission before joining in on an open interaction. Which is where these situations usually take place. Now if I stampeded in on a private interaction, obviously that's a problem, but I don't do that.
We've all got stuff we want to do but sometimes we have to renge on that. Wanting a character dead, for example, is something that needs to be extensively worked out with the player, because it's usually final.
See above regarding the "intrusion" aspect, but furthermore, this all boils to your own choice.
You keep bringing up all these issues and all these problems you see with us but really, if you seriously wanted to do something with someone, you'd just have to ask. And if an interaction is being made, then we'll respect what our friends want out of it, whatever that may be. Asking for an interaction to be private isn't discluding anyone, it's something everyone does.
The choice lies with you, not with us. You don't want to trust us, that's your business, but if you really were so concerned about doing something with Grell then you'd have actually done something about it already. So whatever you wind up doing is on you.
