Wasn't I disbarred? Yes, yes I was. We all know what happened, I presented forged evidence and paid the price.

It seems as though Equestria doesn't mind too much, as Celestia herself requested my services. She apparently knows that I'm a good man at heart, and would never present evidence that I knew was fake. But that's a discussion for another time, Your Honor.

The police received a call at around 6:10, reporting a bleeding and unconscious pony.

They arrived on the scene roughly ten minutes later, at 6:20, and after questioning those present, followed up on a tip of the witness fleeing the scene of the crime.

The defendant was found in her place of residence, the Ponyville Library, and upon investigation of the residence, the police located the item believed to have been used in the assault. The defendant was arrested on the spot at roughly 6:40.

>One witness informed us that they saw the defendant fleeing the scene of the crime

>Following up on this claim, we conferred with the other witnesses, and several of them confirmed that they had indeed seen the defendant around the park immediately prior to the assault.

I doubt your first witness' credibility, Detective. Yes, she was at the park, but this one witness was the only one who said she was "fleeing" the scene of the crime, which infers that she was making a hasty retreat after doing a nasty deed.

I also have one more question.

What evidence points to my client's guilt? I would like it if you would submit all your evidence to the court, so we may do a proper job, because so far, you have done nothing but just say Ms. Sparkle is the perpetrator of this crime, but you have given us no reason other than the fact that she was present.

With a reason like that, anyone and everyone who was at the park would be a suspect. I doubt Ms. Sparkle was the only one who left the area as well.

The spine of the book was pretty beaten up, as if it had been struck against something recently, and small traces of the victim's blood were found on it. In addition, the traces of magical aura found on the book indicated that the defendant was the one who had most recently held it.

>[Evidence]<

Anthology of Adventure: A rather thick, tightly bound book. Believed to be the weapon used in the assault. Slight damaging to the spine. Traces of the victim's blood found on spine. Bears traces of several recent magical auras among other evidence of handling, two recent. One is the defendant's, the other unknown, but the most recent traces belong to the defendant. Found on a table in the Ponyville Library.

Medical Report: Victim struck once in the back of the head, then repeatedly bludgeoned about the head and upper body. The victim suffered a concussion. Signs of heavy bruising to the head and neck, broken nose, and two cracked ribs. The assault is believed to have occurred between 5:00 and 6:00

If they were arguing, wouldn't they be facing each other? Why is this injury on the back of the head?
It doesn't quite make sense. Also, Twilight Sparkle is a well-reserved pony. Seldom does she do anything to cause harm to anyone. Although there has been bad blood between herself and Trixie, it is well documented that Twilight Sparkle only had the best of intentions for not only her friends, but for Trixie as well.

Example A: The Ursa Minor Incident

Trixie was unable to deal with an Ursa Minor, contradicting her claims, and Twilight Sparkle came in to dispose of the Ursa Minor.

Example B: The Alicorn Amulet Incident

Trixie procured a powerful and forbidden amulet known as the Alicorn Amulet through shady means. She began to torture the citizens of Ponyville at her leisure. Twilight Sparkle was then banished by Trixie. In the end, Twilight Sparkle saved her friends and made amends with Trixie… somewhat.

Continuing on the book, it is highly likely that Twilight Sparkle could have lent this book to someone else while she was at the park, or even before she even left, her residence is a library, after all. She is always willing to spread her love of reading with others.

I believe that Twilight Sparkle had loaned a book to another pony, and the said pony ended up being the one who attempted to murder Trixie Lulamoon. They sneaked up on her and proceeded to strike her in the back of the head and assault her. Realizing the book wouldn't do much more, they left the scene. They proceeded to leave the book near the library. Twilight, on the way back home, notices the book she lent had returned, but it was in horrible shape. She immediately levitated it and brought it inside, explaining why the most recent aura found on the book is hers.

Yes, this is a loosely based theory, however, there is much still unknown about this case. There is nothing other than this book that points to my client's guilt.

>>765711

Godot, that doesn't explain anything. Trixie wouldn't simply just turn away. She would be up in Twilight's face, insulting her at every opportunity.

The sign itself that you presented says "Trixie was here. Twilight Sparkle is a loser!" in big black letters.

It is obvious that she and her insults are relentless.

Also, if Twilight Sparkle and Trixie were arguing, why was it never reported? Normally, some curious ponies would obviously want to see what all the ruckus was about. Especially if it was a scuffle between two well known rivals such as Twilight Sparkle and Trixie Lulamoon.

It is a well known fact that Trixie made her return to Ponyville and cruelly toyed with the citizens for her entertainment.

Here comes the million dollar question. What was the witness doing at the scene of the crime? I realize that it is a slightly less populated area, ergo, there are still ponies there, but not as many, however, this one witness could have seen it all, yet they only reported that Twilight Sparkle was running away hastily.

Also, here comes a good question for you.

Twilight Sparkle is a unicorn, correct? She is very competent in her magical studies, and is Celestia's most trusted student. She is the wielder of one of six elements of harmony. Her element, magic.

So the question is, why would Twilight Sparkle not just teleport home after committing such a dastardly crime?

>>765695
>so it's not surprising that there weren't too many ponies paying attention to it.

Refer to my previous statement, here >>765716
>Also, if Twilight Sparkle and Trixie were arguing, why was it never reported? Normally, some curious ponies would obviously want to see what all the ruckus was about. Especially if it was a scuffle between two well known rivals such as Twilight Sparkle and Trixie Lulamoon.

If anything, it is very surprising that there weren't any ponies paying attention, if this argument went down.

>>765724
I realize this might be a bold claim but, what if the assault had happened before we originally thought? There are no witnesses that said Twilight Sparkle and Trixie Lulamoon had an altercation, ergo, it could be possible.

I say Season 3 did happen, just not Season 3 Episode 12. Twilight isn't a princess yet, but that doesn't mean that Episodes 1-11 should be ignored.

Further more, look at the place where the witness was standing.
Right behind a tree?
Doesn't look like much witnessing would be done from there.

But hearing? Oh yes. Surely, the witness would have heard an altercation and moved from behind the tree to a place of better view vantage.

So why does the witness only talk about Twilight's escape and not the altercation?

Godot !2y2YEp0IOI 765730

>Godot, that doesn't explain anything. Trixie wouldn't simply just turn away. She would be up in Twilight's face, insulting her at every opportunity.

And you would know this how? I don't believe you witnessed this argument, did you, Trite?

Tell me something, Trite. If you were trying to add that extra bite to your insult, what would you do? Before you answer that, keep in mind that I find my coffee both more interesting and stronger than your weak arguments.

>Also, if Twilight Sparkle and Trixie were arguing, why was it never reported? Normally, some curious ponies would obviously want to see what all the ruckus was about. Especially if it was a scuffle between two well known rivals such as Twilight Sparkle and Trixie Lulamoon.

And whom, do you propose, would report it, Trite? Are you implying that the pair of them have a dedicated stalker just waiting for them to break out into a fight? Your argument assumes that ponies knew they were there prior to the crime.

>>765720

>May I ask where exactly the book was found? I realize it was in the library, but where in the library?

It's not our job to spoon feed you, Trite. You can check the Court Record like the rest of us.

>Here comes the million dollar question. What was the witness doing at the scene of the crime? I realize that it is a slightly less populated area, ergo, there are still ponies there, but not as many, however, this one witness could have seen it all, yet they only reported that Twilight Sparkle was running away hastily.

>>765726

>Further more, look at the place where the witness was standing.

>Right behind a tree?
>Doesn't look like much witnessing would be done from there.

You don't need much of a vantage point to see someone emerge around the trunk of a tree.

>But hearing? Oh yes. Surely, the witness would have heard an altercation and moved from behind the tree to a place of better view vantage.

>So why does the witness only talk about Twilight's escape and not the altercation?

And again, you assume the witness came along during the argument and not after the fact.

Furthermore… I don't believe you've actually heard any witness testimony. You're certainly making a lot of assumptions, aren't you?

>So the question is, why would Twilight Sparkle not just teleport home after committing such a dastardly crime?

I could give several reasons, but at this point it's little more than conjecture. Perhaps her ability to do so was impeded in some way. Or perhaps she simply happened to be in a panic and wasn't thinking rationally.

>Detective Marshall, Mr. Godot, can either one of you explain to me the significance of this sign and the paint other than the fact that the victim used it? So what? How is it relevant?

At this time we believe that the sign in question is what sparked the initial argument and provides the motive for this crime.

>I realize this might be a bold claim but, what if the assault had happened before we originally thought? There are no witnesses that said Twilight Sparkle and Trixie Lulamoon had an altercation, ergo, it could be possible.

While it's true that the exact time of the assault cannot be pinpointed, the amount of variance in time would have to be a pittance to not be reflected in the medical report.

I sincerely apologize to anyone who has an interest in this thread. It seems for the third time in three weeks, we have gotten into a conflict with each other's schedules.

It seems that currently, I am the only one present out of the group. There will be no trial today, as the Judge has plans, Godot has plans, who, in fact, is the most important member of this case as he created it.

Again, I'm sorry that this keeps happening, and it deeply saddens me that we have to put off a case with such potential. Stay tuned for updates.

Well, since I'm currently in Equestria, and these ponies don't seem to need a piano player, nor do they seem to have an interest in poker, I've got nothing better to do than to review these notes. Ema really does do a great job keeping record of the events of court. I can't imagine how much I would have been lost without her back in the trial of her sister, Lana Skye.

Sign: A sign located in Ponyville Park. The original writing is covered by the message; "Trixie was here. Twilight Sparkle is a loser!" painted in big black letters.

Can of Paint and Brush: A can of black paint and a paintbrush. No magical traces found on the can. Two different traces found on the brush. One the victim's, the other unknown.

Time Card: A timesheet indicating that Anthology of Adventure was last checked out on May 5 at 3:00 PM and returned on May 8 and 5:20 PM

>[Profiles]<

Godot - The Prosecution.
Absolutely loves coffee. I’m worried for his health, is caffeine a drug? I think it is. Still uses the same insults 7 years later.

Phoenix Wright - The Defense. I’m not sure what fashion era he’s in. Disbarred, but allowed to practice law in Equestria.

Twilight Sparkle - The Defendant. She reminds me of me. I like her! We can’t let her get found guilty!
I mean, a purple pony.
She's pretty worried about me. I'm surprised she still remembers who I am.

The Great and Powerful Trixie Lulamoon the Almighty the First -
The victim, and who the heck goes around being called that? Apparently still a prosecutor despite her defeat. I thought she went back to doing magic shows.

Apollo Justice - The Defense Co-Counsel. Is apparently fine. I like his hair. His hair reminds me of lockpicks. Lockpicks are fun.

Ema Skye - The Defense Co-Counsel. Is an old friend of mine, it’s been quite some time. Loves science. Takes notes. Hey, those notes are IMPORTANT, they’re not just “Notes”, they’re shining little pieces of scientific gold. Be more respectful!

Jake Marshall - The Detective Assigned to the Investigation. What a trip down memory lane this guy is for me. Wonder what Ema will think. Takes his time answering questions. I remember this guy, he was the one detective who really liked steak!

>[Prosecutions Argument]<

The defense is making numerous assumptions without a witness having actually been called up to the stand. The Prosecution asserts that the sign sparked the initial argument that led to the assault, ergo, giving Twilight Sparkle a motive.

>[Defense's Argument]<

The first witness mentioned has a possibility of not being credible. Twilight Sparkle is innocent. There are many assumptions here that would lead to illogical actions made by Twilight Sparkle. The Defense brings up the possibility of the assault happening at a different time than originally expected.

I hope to have this case finished before the FFA group gets their Case 5 done.

I won't be a big part of their case 5. Maybe just Co-Counsel.

Defense Lead for that case is the Original guy who played Apollo.

Also, to explain something;

This thread is technically DLC Case 4, if you want to think about it. Since we made so many DLC Cases and they were different from the main series cases, Ema and I decided that a new name should be applied. Therefore, we call these cases the Court of Magic cases.

Any case that's a DLC Case is a Court of Magic Case.

You're just an idiot. Would you kindly stop your lame jokes? No one ever finds them funny, and you post them on 4chan, where people laugh at just about anything. I lurk the Luna threads, and I just laugh every single time someone fucks your ass over with truth.

>That screen cap

I've studied up on the history behind that. Did Noctis act like a faggot? Yes. Did he have a reason as to why he was? Yes, and it was because he was going through tough times with his family. I believe you had also called him out on being a pussy for letting that get to him, when you had the same issues before. Mind you, you also said you were leaving, and yet, you were back the next day. You are a hypocrite, my imbecilic enemy.

First off, it's not helping your argument since you're taking it out of context.
Second off, he didn't spam Luna threads. He was just that guy who posted in them, and in reality, those threads were really no different than any other.
Third of all, you are implying you have lived his life. For all you know, his life could have been just as bad, if not worse than yours.
Also,
>shitty stories
If it was so shitty, the amount of people who read it wouldn't have been so high. A lot of people liked his work, and you portray Noctis as this boogeyman.

>>781135
I don't know why you think you're not noticed, Ema. You're a vital part. You changed up a lot of things that really helped make these cases stand out from the ones we've had in the past. You can find me on le ebin fceb00k, though, since I got doxxed, there have been a few fake accounts that popped up. I live in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Home of the 14th worth superfund site in the entire USA, but also nominated as one of the best places to live in the country, so it balances out. I've watched the show since about the Winter Wrap Up days, because I have a niece. She and I share a love for moon princess, and I even gifted her my old plushie from way back when for her birthday, and proceeded to get myself a cheap one.

I also love the Halo series, good taste there, Ted. You know, a lot of people called my father Ted. His real name was Tadeusz, but whatever works, I suppose.

Quite the interesting description of yourself, I must say. I had a chuckle.

In a somewhat unrelated topic, I hope to have Ema Skye return in Ace Attorney 6. I want to see her as Wright's Co-Counsel again. Just imagine that, moody Detective Ema Skye working again with the legendary Defense Attorney himself. It would be a reunion that many of us would rejoice at. I hate how Wright never directly spoke to Ema.

Is it bad that one of my favorite moments in Dual Destinies was the little nod to Ema Skye in the DLC Case? You know, with the Luminol.

You know, you do do sprite work. I have a challenge for you, make sprites of Grown Up Ema Skye being Wright's Co-Counsel. If that is within your skill range, I have no clue about your actual abilities, and if it is not possible, I apologize.

Here, first you can have the more obscure version of muh OC, the Pegasus.

>>781560
>top three
Luna, obviously, because of her amazing voice, her really rich character that has so much potential, her fun personality, her lore, etc.

Twilight, because God damn it, she's cute, she's smart, her personality is great, she would be the best teacher in the world, she's so nice, but is also pretty snarky, etc.

Pinkie, because she fills my heart with joy and she is so innocent and sweet and makes me smile everytime.

Gonna continue dump of muh OC. It's been too long. These characters, they speak to me.

I've written Prince Noctis recently, but poor old Pegasi Noctis has been treated like dirt.

My my, for someone who gets a lot of shit for existing, you sure do get a lot of art drawn of your characters. Got anymore? Or perhaps we can save that for another time?
