>Kinda bored, so, I don't know, I like to write, I used to write dark stuff, but I kinda think a lot of it wasn't very meaningful or full of any substance, so I wouldn't know if I could write anything good, even if I did, I wouldn't know, I guess I second guess myself, but for what it's worth, I guess I could still try.
>There was a tapping on some glass, the water that filled to the top slightly moved as each tap on the glass shook the case ever slightly, the little inhabitants in the glass slightly irritated as their tank was being disturbed by the constant tapping, it was always on time, coming over and again, constant in it's frequency, as it's been going on for about half an hour now, all they could do was swim along in their limited space inside their tank with the little things such as fake plants, rocks and chests, things typical to a fish tank, though it wasn't something that they could process much, just that they were being disturbed so they would keep moving
"Moving along, swimming in this little tank day in and out, one day tossed out since no one will have them, with their needle teeth and soulless red eyes, perhaps there is some character to them, but no one will ever know, all you are to them is a killer, a little monster, who all you want is just to eat and destroy things"
>Tap tap tap, the fish in the tank swam around more, their red belly's feeling off and disturbed by the slight waves that were subtle not to be seen, but that they could still detect and feel the unease to the water, their razor teeth filled mouth's open and water passing through their gills, taking in the oxidized water to breath
"Maybe someone will throw you a bone and take you in, a little kid maybe with a careless parent, wanting to have an oh so cool pet fish, a piranha, surely that would make a great cool pet."
>He reaches into the tank next to the one he was tapping on and grabs one of the more curious gold fish coming to inspect the foreign object of the tank, perhaps it was feeding time, but when it comes to see, he grabs it and then moves it over and dangles it over the tank he was tapping on
Tap Tap Tap
"But then, they might get curious, 'what happens when I try and see how the fish feels when I touch it with my finger', hmm? Maybe a curious finger won't hurt."
>And he drops the gold fish into the tank, it's dazed for a moment, and then rights itself to the water, the initial shock keeping it unaware and able to process where exactly it is now
"But then... The little oh so cool pet in it's nature will wonder what it just caught in it's territory, and will strike."
>The little gold fish doesn't last long, as the piranha quickly has itself a good meal, making quick use of it's teeth, and swallowing the pieces of it whole
"Hmm... Maybe, or you'll end up with someone who just wants to put you outside on the pavement and stick a twig in your eye and watch you cook in the hot sun"
>He watches them swim and settle after he stops tapping the glass, seems not much was going on at the pet shop, he turns back to the employee at the register, he seemed to be busy using a phone and sitting oddly not paying attention to him one bit, he turns back
"In a way, I am almost like you, little fish"
>He says, looking at them with his red eyes
"But, I might just be something, just a little bit... More"
>He stands back up, puts his hands in his pockets, and heads out, putting some sunglasses on, wondering what he should do next, maybe get his hands on some substances to dull out the rest of the world that is either ever changing, or not moving one bit, in any case, he didn't care for it, so perhaps he could just go home and relax with a little something, and he walks out, and takes off
