Twilight seems uncomfortable with princesshood. Anonymous No.444623
If that theme continues throughout the season, they may actually be cleverly setting up for something amazing. Here's my prediction for the season:
1. As the season progresses, a Twilight gets more and more uncomfortable with the "Princess" title.
2. In the finale, her ascension attracts some sort of catastrophe and/or her new responsibilities cause her to crack.
3. Twilight decides princesshood just isn't for her, and uses the destiny spell from MMC to change herself back into regular Twilight.
After this, it can go a few different ways.
4a. Celestia reveals that the whole thing was just another test, to teach Twilight that a good student is willing to question her teacher.
4b. Celestia reveals that the whole thing was just a test, to teach Twilight to be humble enough to say no to responsibilities she doesn't think she can handle, and/or rewards she doesn't think she deserves.
4c. Celestia realizes she was wrong, and has to write a letter about the lesson _she_ learned. "-Dear Princess- To My Faithful Student, Twilight: I learned that whether you're a mother, or just a mother figure, you need to remember that your children have their own goals, and you shouldn't try to force _them_ to follow _your_ passions."
4d. Some combination of the above, such as combining the lessons, or Twilight stating she learned one or both of the lessons, and Celestia responding by talking about her own lesson.
This would be so badass. Especially the penultimate one, because it shows that Celestia isn't infallible, gives a nice "teacher learns from student" moment, and teaches the parents of the target audience for a change. If one of these happens, I'll take back 75-85% of the bad stuff I've said about Twilacorn.
