Why is it people draw AJ as the Engineer? Anonymous No.409814
It boggles me.
Mainly for the fact AJ isn't no where near as educated to thus craft the Engineer's gadgets, like an automated sentry or a teleporter. Just because they're both "Country Bumpkins" isn't enough to exactly portray to AJ as him, in my opinion.
Twilight would probably be a more fitting candidate, considering she reads all kinds of things, seems smart, and since she doesn't do any real physical labor, it makes sense that she would use her brain to craft machines to do her bidding. Not to mention, she can teleport, and what is one of the Engie's inventions? A teleporter.
Also Rarity would be more the Sniper than anything. Being a Spy, although getting to wear fashionable suits, means getting close to people and deceiving them to thus get as close as she needs to whether it's stabbing them in the back or sapping buildings. Would Rarity really do that to someone? Especially when she could possibly get "Blood on her suit" too? No, she'd probably be far, far away from the heat of the battle picking off people from a safe distance. You also need to realize that being one to make dresses for a living probably means she's a bit creative and has a "eye" for things, which would probably give her some subtle advantage over other ponies trying out for Sniper.
Trixie would probably be a better choice for Spy. Considering the Spy on his own is weak, and Trixie herself isn't inherently strong enough on her own without some help, it'd be better for her to "Trick" people instead since she's more accustomed to using "flash" to attract and distract.
That's just me though.
