LOL! California is done. Instead of simply allowing a water market to form where prices reflect supply and demand, they're going to smart-meter their socialist edicts, centrally planning the water economy into prosperity.

Everybody is blaming some party or political group and they're all going to claw at each other until it's all gone and some fucking federal emergency is declared where Oregonians will be forced at gunpoint to carry their water to CA cotton & rice farms, almond orchards, and gold courses.

>continue living your dumb wasteful life as normal
>"hurr de durr what can you do it is what it is" while they swim in their swimming pools next to the fountains and water sprinklers helping their perfectly trimmed lawn keep up with the joneses

I wonder if they will actually try to start siphoning water from other states.

They already do in a way.

A lot of the restrictions on water use are to ensure California gets "enough" water

wow you filthy fucks, just cut half your outdoor water use and this entire thing is done. Well, not really, since most of the water goes to farms... but on the theory that cutting residential water use will fix the trouble, then we're fine.

Those sound like horrific wastes.
Why would anyone want to swim in a human stew pool? Ugh. And lawns...ehhhh.
