The idea that you have a higher chance of being pulled over or shot by police if you're black is true.
Because white people are scared of black people. The "bending over backwards" is white people going, "Here! Take whatever you want, just don't hurt me."
And of course, this just makes black people look like the agressors, which as a species, humans deal with agressors in a very direct fashion: Cage it or kill it. Which is unfair to black people who do nothing wrong.
But this fear comes from young thugs causing problems in the streets. Which they do because their opportunities are limited. Big corperations in this country are mostly owned by white people. If a white person doesn't innately trust you, you have to work twice as hard as someone they do trust, that being another white person.
In other words, white people feel like they are being bullied by black people and black people feel like they are being treated like bullies.
It's self perpetuating because neither side wants to admit that it's partially their fault, which it is. It's either the black people for perpetuating violent culture or white people for being segregatingly racist. Neither wants to admit that they are part of the problem.
