I was afraid what villain was going to show up after Tirek, and was scared it was gonna go all Dragonball, with an even stronger guy than him showing up.
I really appreciated that it didn't happen, and the villain was a very regular looking character, and a pony of all things, that merely was in the position because of her wits. I mean she even only beat the mane 6 at first because she caught them off guard, not because she was super strong or anything!>>3228222
And I think that was precisely the point of the episode. You can be unique -and- equal with others at the same time, because everybody is unique and special, and we should appreciate everybody for what they're good at instead of trying to hold them down to "keep them in line" with others.>>3228227
I'm not, because I don't use social system names like that. I don't study these concepts.
All I'm saying is that this episode was hardly about communism, which was a common thing people kept throwing at me ever since the episode was leaked. They instantly jump the chance at muh communisms as soon as they see something even loosely resembling the idea of equality in media. What they don't realize is you can talk about concepts around equality and value without it turning into communism which is a concept of like, running an entire fucking country for crying out loud, its economy and policies and everything.
