I personally wouldn't have fired her, but the only reason she was asked to repay the money was because she didn't drop the register like she was supposed to. Not simply because she was robbed.

Yes, a horizontal bar is best for dealing with dynamic loads a bike frame will suffer. Bike design isn't exactly my area of expertise though.

As for skirts a short skirt would get caught by the wind anyhow and a long skirt risks getting caught in the chain/sprocket. Suppose that's why the old fixies had guards no them. Never really understood the skirts for girls thing personally. Doesn't seem terribly practical.
