Hmm… Human Alicorn Twilight.
The first thing I find that works well is the wings. The size and detail on them catches my eye and really seems to highlight what the image is about. I'm quite impressed by how much effort has been put into them. Full of the imperfections that makes the image look good.
The next part is a little odd for me to phrase, so forgive me for this. I kinda find fault with the whole 'human' side of things. I love Angels, I love humanised and I love beauty. The problem with this image seems to be a few minor human related things. The hands, the feet, the complexion, the angle of the face… Minor things that all come from one basic concept.
The last thing I need to address is how dynamic it is. There's really an attempt at creating a sense of wonder and power from this. An obvious line of action has been used and the dress is flowing beautifully… It's truly a good image.
This isn't my favourite image from you, Red, though I have to confess that it is a pretty little sight.>>2573
It's due to detail and everything. I don't want to get overwhelmed by requests and I need a tad bit of detail to get anything done.
If it's a sketch, the most I could give is a comment on how it looks.
If it's a simple/lacking background drawing, the most I can give is a medium.
And if it's an epic like this picture… I can give any feedback levels.>>2574
Fluttershy! And it's cute too! :3
A medium feedback on Acrylic's Fluttershy! Before I begin, I have to say that Fluttershy is my third favourite pony. My favourite and second favourite ponies feature in this image.
I love the theme. It's cute! This may not sound very artistic, though the blend of colours (as is normal with Fluttershy) never strays away from the lighter end of the spectrum and thus all the kawaii-ness of the image comes out in full. Hiding the eyes, keeping it bright… You've demonstrated an array of techniques that make this image cute. This fits the subject.
My fault ironically comes from a few curves. Why is this ironic? Because I have a knack for complaining about curves on Fluttershy. The muzzle is too oval (though round enough to show it's a mare) and her wings are too bland and boring. This is a minor issue and these curves have synergy with her hair and eyelashes. I just don't think that the method of drawing the wings is as good as it could be.
And the final thing I absolutely and utterly need to talk about is the colouring/shading. Look at that shine on the hair… Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. It adds depth, detail and all with just a simple blend of white. This is done so well that the shading is blown away. I just… I just can't really comment on the shading of the hair/body while there's such a style of shining.
Keep up the good work, Acrylic.
