It's more about finding the right layers, and right order of layers, that's giving me troubles. I used the darken layer for the other times of day, but when they mix the sunset colour OP drew is visible past the darken layer. Colouring carefully to avoid this leads instead to a disjointed mess.

This time I'm going to try a simple Normal layer as that covers up all traces… of everything. Hoping for the best.

Alright, I just repeated the process, though it'll create a little extra work for you.

Basically the OP B&W image should be on the top and set to multiply and every other layer should be on Multiply. The sky background if you gradient it should be on the very bottom, and any layers between the top and bottom can just be freely coloured to whatever without the gradient fucking with the colours, and still having them blend to the black outlines.

The downside to this is whatever you were going to leave as is, such as nigga (or I do anyway at least) is gonna need to be coloured white again, or whatever colour it was. So just eyedrop the OP image and colour that shit in all over again.

Yeah, it's only because that particular scene looked to be a special effects fest. Sombra has a ridiculous shine and random darkness effect on what he wears, his stupid eyesmoke also glows, his eyes glow, his horn and various other red bits around him get darker at their base… and I don't even know what the hell the black line crap coming from him is, but I threw an effect over that as well.

And as I said previously with the spaghetti, to actually light it up enough to be noticable, I duplicated the layers over themselves a few times, it was annoying.

Can we please just stay on /mlp/? OP was fine before, he never had problem with ASNYIP, his ban was unrelated, and the constant "But the scruffening! But the mods! But scruffy! But MLPchan is better! but MY PORN!" is MUCH MORE ANNOYING than any potential scruffening.
I've been on this since /co/. Even if I miss LSA and some other porn thread, I still visit the place, because there's new stuff to read everyday (instead of generals here), though I still come here for that. HOWEVER I would say that by now, ASNYIP is much more than that, and after more than 100 threads of ASNYIP, which is honeslty one of the pillar of /mlp/ by now, seeing it gone would be a loss.

Also, while the porn was a good bonus, I could say that by more, we are more attached to the characters and romance than the porn itself, coming here would be admitting you take the porn as the most interesting thing of ASNYIP, which honestly, isn't.

And finally, OP posted some Luna porn before and was fine with it, so I dont see why he shouldn't keep going.

I'm going to move this thread to /arch/ soon, but I'd like to answer any questions you might have, first.

However, I will answer a few general questions first.

1. Only 3 or 4 people who voted to stay had been here previously consistently. All other votes were from people who only came here for this thread.

2. Any and all additions to the site should be asked for on /site/
From custom CSS to additional features from 4chan x, ask for it and it will be added to the coding to do list.

3. I'm personally working on getting a [gt][/gt] tag added, for mid sentence greentexting.

4. My personal opinion on the thread and its potential move here:
as a mod, I'm not going to lie. I'm biased. However, ignoring that, asking the nor/mlp/erson inside of me that was hired here, outside of my moderatorship..I want this thread to do as well as possible. I don't know where that'll be. I want you guys to stay, but, you have to really consider if that's what's best for the thread. Don't come over here for superfluous reasons like "bro mods" or something, come here if you believe it'll be better for the thread. Regardless of your decision, you'll always be as welcomed here as this first time

The way I see it that's only a bonus.
The main reason to move would be to give OP full artistic freedom.
