The Bush fucked up, you cannot be both Republican and destroy the values that made this country the Land of Free.

A republic is a form of government in which power resides in the people,[1] and the government is ruled by elected leaders run according to law (from Latin: res publica), rather than inherited or appointed.
US Republicans are oligarchs. They are fake patriots. They ruined the image of america through the world instead of being real nationalists, caring for their own economy instead of spending money on useless wars and foreign policies.

Democrats as we have here are not democrats. they are socialists. True democrats would demand referendums and ask the opinion of the people for every decision they make. Swiss is the perfect example, the people have the full power.
US Democrats are actually socialists. They're elected, they now push an ideology in the people by all means. They don't care about the majority but carve for minorities and little things, they aim to erase and destroy what the past governments did to build something new.

>I'm a Republican

Both major political parties are shit.

When a presidential election comes up, it's less about voting for the best candidate, and more voting for the candidate that's the least bad out of the two you're given.

Like, back when Obama was elected for a second term, I voted for him not because I thought he was doing good, in fact, I thought he was doing pretty shitty, but at the same time, I thought electing Romney would be worse. That guy rubs me the wrong way in so many ways. This is the point we've gotten to, and I dread whoever they pick to run for the next election, because it's very likely that they'll both suck, and it won't matter which one of them wins, because we'll lose.

They are both of the same nature, influenced and funded by the same corporations, many of which are based and owned overseas. Other countries control our government, the major parties are quite irrelevant and only there to provide illusion of choice.

One of the two parties wants corporations to buy elections, the other opposes. But since the Supreme Court is 5-4 in favor of big money, big money wins.

If you really think Gore would've run Bush's rackets, or our policies wouldn't be substantially more pro-worker if Obama had a compliant Congress, you're kidding yourself.

If only it wasn't for x party, y candidate, or z president - everything would be fine!

I'll vote for ____ next time!

Anonymous 508387

Making the Mother of all Omelets, Jack.

That's who I usually vote for. I've cast lots of blank ballots.
